AH! MY LOVELIES I HAVE MISSED YOU AS IT HAS BEEN A YEAR SINCE MY LAST UPDATE (not really but the new year tends to do that to you)!!

I have been well and my father has too (for those of you who were worried about his heart, He's well and fine and has had no problems since his visit to the hospital).

My commissions are going along smoothly, and I will be working extra hard to finish my last few commissions so that the new year and the new batch can kick off without a hitch. :3

A resolution for me is to save $5000 for whatever life throws at me (and possibly a car lol)

Oh! Also I've got a tumblr! Please follow it as it's strictly an ask me account, so Ask me stuff, and I'll draw a response!

And mission accomplished in delivering my latest die, as it got lost in the mail and was more of a headache than it needed to be (long story) but it was safe, long story short and I delivered it earlier today, so I await pictures from my super happy customer! :DDD

Bah, this journal really has no direction, but whatever, I'm alive, IN YOUR FACE MIYANS! XDDD (Not that I was worried.) I hope you all had a wonderful new year and christmas! <3

Hey everyone I've been relaying the same info all morning to friends via text, e-mail, facebook... you name it.

But please, I started a Gofundme page for him and it has all the info I know at the moment on there.

:bulletred: www.gofundme.com/Arrows-heart-… :bulletred:

I'm going to be using that site to keep all the info up to date, and if you can't donate, Don't worry about it, but please reblog, retweet, rebookface, whatever... Spread the word as far and wide as you can. And I thank you so very very much in advance...

There was a Flame Cat Girl who wandered the webs of the deviantarts forever, but as of late sh has found another web to play in. and her art has become scarce...

Shame on me I know. I've been on Furaffinity a lot lately trying to see if I can bring in any business. And as a result I haven't been here much. I have done a handfull of badge commissions, but they haven't been posted since I know they're not here on DA and I'm being weird about art... but this post here is to clear the air. I have a few friends who think that I'm a furry and this post is to tell my story so that there is no confusion later.

I became a furry by accident. And how this chain of events happened is we all know my Fursona Lionotto, I created it when I was 8 when pokemon came out and I was hooked. I created the Lionotto as a legendary pokemon that was only mine and only I could catch it. But I poured so much of my heart into that cat that I knew that it was mine and mine alone. And as the years passed, while tons of other creatures I created faded with time, Lionotto stuck through evolving into the beast you see today. When it was first born, it was a brown cat with a fame on the end of it's tail. Then it got bird wings, and it stayed like that for a while, then devil horns were added to the design a year or so after. The fame on it's tail finally migrated to the full backside, bird wings were turned to angel, and in the fur that replaced that flame had a four-pronged claw nestled inside the fur (and today I know not if I wish to keep that claw or not, Currently there is no claw in the fur in any of the designs). And finally the horn on the nose. Each piece of the Lionotto was a bit of me in some way. And the design was ment to tell you a bit of me, Lion-brave, Angel wings-good natured and kind, devil horns mischievous, Flames were always my firey soul-never afraid to be myself or give my oppinions, the horn on the nose was that I am the only one of me, and the entirety was that I'm unique. And that was the story behind the Liontto.

Then about a year or so ago, I discovered furries. And I remember when I first did, I was actually really nervous to call myself a furry due to the first thing I saw was of course the "yiff" and the fetish side. I knew to look deeper, but I didn't want to attract that hate towards myself, since haters will hate all. But during that whole discovery, I did a lot of thinking about myself, I had Lionotto, but did that make me a furry? By the definition that they have characters that represent them, yes. But was I enough to classify myself as a Fur? And would I be sucked into a kult of Fur vs. Trolls? I was nervous and not sure what to do. So I did research and found the root of the furs, where there were costume makers and talented artists, and I thought that at the root it was just a bunch of artists that liked animals. So I thought that I would see if there was a group that I could go to to see the furries first hand. And I found one and went. It was pretty spectacular. People were friendly, and I met a dragon named Toast, and while he and I were talking I was drawing a highly detailed picture of his fursona, and when everything was said and done, he gave me $100. Yes you read that right $100. Brian (fiancee) who came with me agreed with me that $100 was too much, but we broke it with whatever change we had, so in reality he only paid $50 something, but I was astounded, I did a drawing that wasn't even my best work, and I was literally handed a $100 bill.

I saw this a truly great opportunity to do the art that I love and finally make a living off of my art. Their costumes were right up my alley for my skill and what I wanted to do with myself, and their characters were great fun for me to draw. So I dove in and slapped the title of Furry upon myself. But if you ask me, I still don't consider myself a furry. I love the characters, I love the fandom, but I feel that since I had Lionotto for forever now, and if asked I will say that I'm furry for the sake of simplicity, but I really just love that whole atmosphere of being able to talk openly about art and characters. I adore going to conventions and just hanging out in the artist's alley for this exact reason. The freedom I feel for not having to sensor myself is a wonderful thing, and being with the furries feels like a convention each time I go. The hustle and bustle  the art the costumes. I love it all so much. But as I mentioned I said that I'll wear the tag Furry for simplicity's sake, but the title I'll truely go by is Furry Adjacent. And Brian will openly tell you he is Furry Adjacent by Association. We both say that if we were animals I would be a cat, and he a golden retriever, but we don't flaunt this aspect. We still act like our normal selves weather we're with friends, public, or furs, and yes I've gotten a few costume pieces to show that I'm the Lionotto, but I've always loved dressing up in costume Halloween was never soon enough, nor conventions.

But my love for dressing in costume stemmed from Anime, and the Cat girl (neko mimi) And I've been an anime fan far longer than I've been a furry. And anime's cat girls always inspired me with my characters always being part animal, since that was my spin on the magical girls, where my characters could be animals or human if they wanted. I was also very intrigued with the idea if my characters coud shape shift what would be the conflict between them and those who could not, which led me to an Avatar Legend of Korra type scenario where there's a civil war afoot. But I disliked that Idea immensely, there wold be no one you could trust, and the setting was not one I wanted to paint. So I bounced many an idea back and fourth and finally dawned on the idea that I'm still running with in Spiritus. And my characters are still all neko mimi, but I play on the illusion and the foreignness of a character, and the whole save the world aspect, but I put a spin on it. But in a nutshell, I've been wanting to be a writer forever and Spiritus gave me the ideas I wanted to play with my characters that aren't anthro, but aren't human. A misfit like myself for most of my life. Furries gave me the inspiration to chase where I want to be in my life, with the aspect of writing my guts out. And getting the joy I feel from being with those I love at conventions. :3
